The Nurturing Nest is a fusion of a home daycare and a center-based setting. Providing our families with this unique combination offers the best of both settings in one nurturing environment. Our center has two working owners on site to ensure the consistency of staff and classroom routines. The Nurturing Nest is a secure child care center, keeping parents’ minds at ease while they leave their little ones in our care. Our main entrance is equipped with a touchpad entry, providing each family with their own private passcode.
Dedicated and Diligent Staff Members
Our staff of dedicated teachers implement fun activities that enhance a child’s language development, social skills, cognitive skills, and fine/gross motor skills. Our teachers instruct through a creative-based curriculum that meets the State of CT educational guidelines. Their goal is to nurture each child’s natural curiosity and encourage them to never lose the excitement of learning something new! All of our staff are CPR- and First Aid-certified and are required to participate in continuing education training throughout the year.

We know that it’s tough being away from your little one all day, especially in these early years, which is why we use Brightwheel, an industry leader in early education. Showcased on the popular TV show “Shark Tank” in 2016, Brightwheel is a real-time feed of your child’s school day, delivered straight to your mobile device. It is an all-in-one mobile app that allows our teachers to share photos, activities, and communication with parents all in one place. As a parent, you’ll receive private, realtime updates and photos delivered to your phone, computer or tablet. Parents report that the peace of mind Brightwheel delivers is invaluable.
